The Sketching Pad in Olde Town Conyers runs a Fine Art Camp and a Design Camp each summer for ages 4-12, meeting weekly from 9am to noon with supplies and snacks included. Campers work in drawing, watercolor and acrylic and oil painting. The studio has taught children and adults to draw and paint for over 20 years and also runs Saturday workshops in things like comic character design and board-game design.

There are multiple items to choose! They have tons of canvas painting to choose from. There are several pottery pieces available to paint. They even offer pottery making classes! One of my favorite things they have are a nice selection of items for mosaic art! The parking around Old Town Conyers can be tricky, but Bank St usually has a spot open! I highly recommend coming for therapy, a date, or just a fun family night!!

★★★★★Inky DoughnutIf you like painting, and love ceramic items you Have to visit the sketching pad! This is my second trip and i am just as excited as the first time. If you live in the area I highly recommend getting the specialty glaze that needs fired in the kiln. The acrylic paint jut isn't as glossy and smooth. The workers are amazing and are super willing to help if you struggle on your project.
