The Shedd Institute is a nonprofit community music school in downtown Eugene offering summer camps for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. One-week Summer SongFest camps introduce elementary kids to American music through song, instruments, dance, and visual arts, while older students can join the mariachi program, Musical Theatre Training Academy, or Young Artist Academy, which culminates in a festival concert.

It's really hot in there with the seats because I dressed very warmly. I would advise not dressing warmly. It seats a lot of people and easy to find rows. There is paid parking nearby about a block or 2 away and also some parking very close. It has a very nice waiting area where they offer free drinks. I like sitting high up so I would advise seating in the middle row and upper section.
