Pine Summit Camp and Conference Center is The Salvation Army's Lawrence M. Daley Camp & Conference Center at 700 Wren Drive in Big Bear Lake, which runs summer camp from mid-June to early August alongside year-round facility bookings for outside groups. The Salvation Army states that every programme it offers "is rooted in our passion to serve God by serving the lost, the vulnerable, the needy, the poor, the hurting, the helpless, and the hopeless". ★★★★★DM TangI visited this camp site for dropping off and picking up my kid who attended a summer camp here. He had a great time. There are many activities here: zip line, rock climbing, swimming pool, soccer field, volleyball field, and many other functions. Food was decent, cabins are said to be heated in winter but no air conditioning which is fine since it’s never too hot in summer in the mountain. The site is surrounded by the beautiful forest. My kid enjoyed a week away from the electronics and other distractions. It’s probably really cozy to visit in winter.
