Positively a good inviornment, with great leaders. All the staff is well balanced, and maintain the program I'm the utmost possible way. It's a clean inviornment, well maintained, and they serve their communities well. I've learned a lot from their guidance, and spirit; I am well equiped to serve alongside of what ever God has proven the circumstances to be a challenge, or not now. I highly respect what they do, and have to offer.

Everything is over priced for the condition they are in. Tables scratched or damaged wood and they are asking $100.00? A dresser with drawers that won't close and some not opening easily and were prices $75.00 dollars and higher. These items are donated and that should be kept in mind when being priced

The Salvation Army men's shelter in Decatur, Il is an excellent place to start over. The entire staff consists of people who are either from here, or are dedicated to being true servants of God through the Salvation Army. The Social Services dept. provides asstance for any needs such as: food, clothing, housing/utilities and are a major contributor during the current pandemic.

I thank God for the Salvation Army! They've come to my aid on a few occasions with help for rent, utilities & food. I was embarrassed but was in great need. I'm disable & I'm on a very tight income that I take care of my children off of & feel behind on bills. They have a well trained & courteous staff to help with these needs & security. So grateful for them, I just cried.💗🙏
