I really wish I could give no stars. It’s really sad how adults can sit in kids face and lie. My son was supposed to have a phone interview here. For the youth mentorThe person Miss Kim never called never reached out never said anything Besides, I have a meeting at 1:30 and I will call after that. I never got a call that was weeks ago.. The director said in my face and via phone and told me all these beautiful lies I truly believe they pick and choose what type of kids they want around. It’s so disgusting hopefully soon in the near future things change Is one thing to tell a lie to an adult it’s another thing to lie to children!!

We’ve been coming to the Kroc soccer field for a long time, so this change was really disappointing. We showed up to play and were told we now have to either purchase a membership or pay $12 per person just to use the field. The security guard who is here daily has been rudely asking people to leave. When I asked about it, I was told the decision was made because some young people were damaging the field. That’s understandable,but if security is already present and monitoring the area, why not address the individuals causing the problem instead of penalizing everyone? Since this change, the fields are sitting empty. It’s frustrating because this used to be a positive, active space for kids and families in the community. When you take away accessible places like this, it leaves fewer healthy outlets for young people.I really hope management reconsiders or finds a better balance that keeps the fields maintained while still allowing the community to use them.

Update: I went into sign up and they said that the initiation fee of $75 was only waived for the club membership, not club + tennis. What a waste of time today. I did not join :( My initial experience with their website is REALLY bad. I have been trying to sign up for a membership for an hour. It says online, and I was told when I called that the initial fee of $75 was waived for the month of April, but when I try to register online it is trying to charge me for it. I called today and, after placing me on hold for about 5 minutes, they said they couldn't help me with the website and I had to come in to sign up. I was just in there this morning when they told me I could sign up online and I am trying to get into a class that starts early tomorrow a.m. And I can't register without a membership. It seemed like a nice facility, but this is ridiculous. If their website can't handle something as simple as allowing you to sign up for a membership, I have doubts about how easy (and accurate) it is going to be when I try to sign-up for classes, etc. after I do get registered.

They have odd times slots you have to reserve to use the pool even if it's completely empty. It's $12 per person for 2 hours. You have to be 14 or older to get in the hot tub and the rules here are strictly enforced. Lifeguards here look like they just came out of Army boot camp. The water temperature is very cold for an indoor pool. Just be warned. Locker rooms are a little dated.

The Kroc Center is such a great part of the Greenville community. The facility is always clean, the staff is friendly, and there’s really something for everyone - when my son was younger, this place was the BEST for birthday parties, and the sports programs are top-notch. We also love the fitness classes, there are activities for all ages. It’s one of those places that always feels very welcoming. We’re lucky to have it here.
