The Long Center is a City of Clearwater recreation center that hosts the city's summer camp for children entering elementary and middle school. Camps run about ten weeks at $100 or less per week, with weekly character-development themes (honesty, respect, courage, leadership) carried through arts and crafts, team sports and field trips. The center's amenities include an Olympic-size pool, heated training pool, gymnasium, soccer fields and a playground. Registration is in person.

Downside of indoors is it can get stifling even when the doors are wide open. Very nice playground just outside for kids of all ages.
★★★★DoloWe enjoyed our visit while our daughter was in the swimming competition. This is a completely indoor, heated pool and bleachers upstairs with plenty of room for personal chairs. There's also 3 courts for basketball or volleyball games. I noticed a dancing studio and a martial arts classroom. The restrooms were clean. Drinks and snacks were available. Nice parking lot with shade trees and room to set-up lawn chairs while watching kids play on the playground equipment. This is a great family location.
