A 68,000-square-foot indoor training facility at 14801 Inwood Rd in Addison, opened in June 2024 in a converted indoor soccer building and dedicated entirely to lacrosse. It hosts camps, clinics, practices and training sessions, including Nike Lacrosse Camps for players of all skill levels covering stick skills, positional technique and a speed-and-agility program. Sessions are run by the facility's coaching staff and by visiting camp operators, so ages, dates and session lengths vary by program.

Powered by GoogleThe Lacrosse Barn is amazing. We had been trying to get some dates that worked to come from out of state and Rose was so great in working with us. She was extremely helpful and patient as we tried to pin down dates that worked and when an unexpected injury forced things to change last minute, she kept in touch to make sure we got some dates that worked. Both Coach Tintle and Coach Early are incredible at what they do. They understand lacrosse and explain things in a way that your player can understand the why behind what they are teaching. I would recommend both coaches to anyone I know and if you’re thinking of booking a group or individual session with them, just do it. I wish my son had this experience years ago.
To preface, I don't really write reviews, but exceptional coaching is worth noting. And this one is overdue. What is the rave - is "Hay is in the Barn" true? Is it for you? Will it deliver results? What sets it apart from others? Is it worth it? The Lacrosse Barn IS exceptional - not just because of the beautiful facility, but because of the environment the coaches intentionally create. Every single session. It fosters a rare balance of high standards and performance paired with care and accountability. Practices are purposeful, focused, and efficient, yet still fun and energizing. Every rep matters, and athletes understand Why they’re doing what they’re doing (not just How), and the Impact. It starts with Why, and that Why is reinforced through experience and sealed into muscle memory through repetition and Impact. Is it for you? A better question might be: is it for athletes who want to learn, grow, and excel at an accelerated rate? Absolutely. It’s by no means social hour, and it’s not a place where athletes casually walk to get water. It’s deliberate practice in an environment that demands focus, effort, and engagement, while still empowering athletes to find joy in their craft. Will it deliver results? Nick Tintle has coached my daughter for 5+ years, both before The Barn and in The Barn. There’s a reason she’s committed and won’t settle for anything less. Nick creates a judgement-free space where she can go hard, test and try new things, listen and learn from others, be creative and develop her own style, get real-time feedback, and ultimately gain confidence to carry outside The Barn. She loves it - the work is intentional, the time is well spent, and her growth is real. That said, results also depend on the athlete. Where does your child want to take their game? What are their capabilities? How much capacity do they have to put in the work? How strong is their will to make it happen? The Barn provides the environment, coaching, and standards. What an athlete gets out of it depends on how much they’re willing to put in, and carry forward. What sets The Barn apart from others? World-class coaching and the environment created to learn, grow, and develop at an accelerated rate. The coaches have a passion for the sport, but more so, for the learning and development of young athletes. It's fun to watch. The coaches meet athletes where they are - across ages, personalities, skill levels - knowing how to support, challenge, and hold kids accountable in ways that build confidence and trust. Consistently. Over time. The mindset developed at The Barn goes far beyond lacrosse: continuous improvement, winning in the margins, and purposeful training. They focus on learning one thing each session and building confidence through focused reps and effort; small habits that develop all-around student-athletes and leaders, not just great lacrosse players. Is it worth it? For us, 100%. Truth be told, it depends on the child: their goals, needs, mindset, and the type of environment that enables them to reach their full potential. You can invest all the time, money, and resources in the world, but if a child doesn’t yet have the skills, capacity, or will to work, no environment - no matter how strong - can make up for that. For athletes who are ready to show up, be coached, and put in intentional effort, the return is meaningful and lasting. For context, this review is written with two closely connected intentions: to help parents find the best coaching + environment for their child, and to acknowledge when an organization delivers exceptionally to that need. As former D1 athletes and now parents raising 3 kids (one a D1 athlete on academic scholarship, and two journies underway), we’ve spent significant time, energy and money training and competing in high-stake environments, on and off the field - some transformative, others not. We’ve experienced firsthand the ripple effect of great coaching. When values and goals align, it’s worth every penny, carpool shuffle and weekday scramble. So, yes - Hay IS in The Barn.
My daughter trains with Coach Tintle at the Lacrosse Barn, and I cannot recommend him highly enough for anyone looking to elevate both their technical lacrosse skills and overall game IQ. We feel incredibly fortunate to have him as part of our daughter’s lacrosse journey. He is not only a fantastic coach but also a genuine mentor who truly cares about the players he works with. His dedication, knowledge, and passion for the sport make all the difference.
My daughter Ava has been going to Nick Tintle since he was back in Southern California at Athletes Choice. If you ask her where she really was able to improve all aspects of her Lacrosse game, she would tell you it’s because of Nick. Not only learning how to dodge and shoot, but also the mental aspects of the sport. Nick is tough and does not sugarcoat anything and I believe this “style” made our daughter even stronger for tough competition and the “grind” of trying to get recruited. We can’t say enough about Nick and what he has done for our daughter. In September 2025, our Ava verbally commit to the University of Michigan class of 2031. Thank you for everything Nick!
