Powered by GoogleThis place is incredible. I learned so much and have a deeper affection for sea turtles. I just wish I could have spent 2x the time with the turtles. Amazing interns leading the tours and so happy to hear about their successes. They also have some amazing socks in the gift shop. I would highly recommend
Dinah provided an excellent and detailed overview of sea turtles - their ranges, diets, and how this center cares for injured turtles!! Reasonably priced and our ten year old was impressed with the info and visual availability of injured turtles. Thank you Dinah...
I came to see my granddaughter due to son stationed at Ft. Bragg. She wanted to visit the beach. This rescue popped up and we decided to go. I didn't know you had to reserve a tour. We were very lucky a spot had canceled. Very well put together. Lots of tiny facts and si.e hands on items for the kids. We were able to see the reavilitation tanks and ask as many questions as liked. 2 young girls were awesome tour guides. Love this place. Had to get us shirts too to help support the turtles !!!!
This was a very positive and endearing experience. The volunteers were friendly and knowledgeable. What a wholesome place - affordable and informative. Highly recommend. You need to purchase tickets in advance and don’t be late for your reservation. Very educational. Loved it!!
I had an amazing experience visiting the turtle sanctuary for the first time. Our guide was so knowledgeable and you could tell how much she loved what she was doing. I learned so much! I was so excited about the visit I told my husband I'd go back with him the next day! However, make sure to buy tickets ahead of time. You most likely won't get tickets the same day, they book up fast. It was such a great experience, the best day of my vacation so far!
