The Generator is a nonprofit community makerspace in Sparks that hosts kids' art camps and workshops through the summer, with hands-on topics such as block printing, tie-dye, and embroidery. Camp days run 9:00am–3:00pm, with parents dropping off children with a lunch and water; snacks are provided.

There are a hidden collection of members who help to teach, give great workshops and help org the different areas. They are wonderful as well. If you are a member, consider creating a workshop or art project challenge for the community. Use the website to post your approved workshop. Know that the new Generator is very clean and neat.
