Excellent retreat center. Friendly staff, clean cabins and amenities. I appreciate the dietary accommodations they can make even though I don’t need any. The food is pretty decent for camp food, and the cabins were tidy and presentable for staying - plenty of towels, clean bathrooms etc. It’s in a lovely and idyllic PNW setting and the area is peaceful. What I have also loved about coming for years is the proximity of everything to the “center” by the ball courts where kids can play and parents can chit chat. It’s always a treat to come here and bring my children.

I had a wonderful and blessed time at The Firs during our presbytery family camp. The food was excellent—fresh, tasty, and served with care. The facilities were clean and well-kept, and I especially appreciated the peaceful little cabin I stayed in; it was simple, cozy, and just what I needed for rest and reflection. One of the highlights of the weekend was gathering with my church family to sing psalms together—what a joy to lift our voices in worship surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation. I’m so thankful for the staff and the Christ-centered hospitality they show. I highly recommend The Firs to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat rooted in Christian fellowship.

Went for a church retreat here. Great place to stay with multiple individual dwellings, meeting room and dining room. The lake is nearby and you can go for boat rides, canoeing etc. Life jackets are provided.

Most amazing experience! When we arrived both my kids were nervous but every person who got us through the registration was so happy and friendly. The staff seem like they truly love their job. Also my child needs some medical assistance and the nursing staff was so amazing and helpful to do what ever was needed to make sure my child had an amazing week at camp. They are the kindest group of people and made me feel like my child was safe and his needs were being taken care of. We love the The Firs camp
