The one drawback was that the air conditioning was super loud; the actors would definitely benefit from being mic'd. (However, we did appreciate the A/C in the El Paso heat!)

★★★★★Michael GreerThe playhouse is a wonderful asset to the community. We are longtime patrons and would have a season pass if possible! This year we've seen Butterflies are Free and The Haunting of Hill House. Butterflies was probably the best play we've seen here. Excellent acting and direction! Unfortunately can't say the same for The Haunting of Hill House. It moved so slowly and took so long setting up - lots of talking, no action - that we left at intermission. I can't fault the acting, which was top notch. Last year's Night of the Living Dead was excellent Halloween fare. Probably my second favorite of all time, after Butterflies are Free. We're going to see A Christmas Carol tonight and looking forward to seeing how they do with this Dickens classic. The theater itself is in an old house and the seats are old-school theater seats - no recliners here! But they suit the ambience. It's a nice, small and intimate atmosphere, which helps the audience to see the acting and also understand the dialogue. We will continue to support the playhouse and encourage anyone we know to attend performances there.
