The Discovery Science Place is a hands-on children's science museum in Tyler whose summer camps serve children in kindergarten through 5th grade, with most weeks grouped for ages 5-8 and two weeks extending to age 10. Weekly themes span weather, chemistry, coding, animal conservation and building challenges, taught through STEM experiments and hands-on projects. It's easy to downs 2 or 3 hours. We also have done a summer camp before and the kiddos love it! Price is reasonable, customer service has always been good. The staff were absolutely amazing!!! The ones that I spoke to and the ones who disappeared into the background and we're hardly noticed. Coming back to an area my child wanted to visit again and having a fresh clean slate to play with was the most awesome thing ever. I look forward to returning again and again.
