I was at the pool last night and went to the shower. There was a man in there, fully naked which is bad enough. To make it worse, he showered not in the shower with curtains, but in one with no curtains. I had to walk by him - within arms reach - to get to my locker. I thought this was a nice family center - turns out women have to shower with men here.

A fun place to go with kids - especially with friends for a birthday party! Rock wall, pool, diving well, bowling and other options were a lot of fun. And the facilities were beautiful,, well-maintained and easy to figure out.

I joined the gym for a month while staying in Cooperstown, mainly for the fitness center. The facility is spacious, clean, and stocked with new equipment. The short-term pricing for adult use of the fitness center is a bit steep ($90 for one month, $18 day pass). Despite the size of the space, some standard machines (like a fly machine, seated cable row, or lat pulldown) were missing, and certain newer machines didn’t quite replace that functionality. The music in the fitness center was often louder than I would prefer. Oddly, you’re not allowed to use your own lock in the locker room and must provide collateral to borrow one, creating an unnecessary extra step. The free coffee was a nice perk if you arrive early.

If you are from out of town or a Cooperstown resident Clark Sport Center is a great place for all ages. With an updated workout facility and pool, to a full sized gymnasium the kids and parents have a lot of options for fun. The outdoor tennis facility was recently resurfaced and offers lesson and camps for all ages! Indoor racquetball and squash could be replaced with indoor tennis/pickleball for an all season option! Enjoy your time all season long!

My rating is for the Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Reserved seating with designated port-a-potties will require a ticket. Cold water is freely distributed here.. If you leave the area, you are instructed to take your ticket with you to re-enter the reserved seats. General admission areas are free with another set of port-a-potties. The grounds are expertly set up for this major event. Concessions are a fundraiser for the high school senior class trip.
