I have to say this was the worst theater experience one can i have. As a 13 year old (im 21 now) I had my confidence shot, I was made fun of and belittled and intentionally humiliated infront of the class. All by our "director". 0/10 do NOT recommend!

I called various times to speak to someone regarding new registration. I never received an answer. I figured maybe I'll register and pay online then someone will call me to welcome us and give more details. No one called me even after 2 weeks of registering and paying online. I emailed, messaged on facebook, and called several times. No one ever responded to me. It was such a let down, I was really excited for my child. But we never got a chance. At least I did get a refund after I requested it via paypal.

Parents, please do your research. Ask lots of questions. Talk to other theater parents who have been involved in theater in the Lake Charles area. There are too many red flags that I ignored when my child was part of this group. There are lots of other theater options that can provide a calm, nurturing environment where your child can also learn about hard work and dedication. Ask if all workers of any theater company conducts background checks prior to working with your child!

an experience that left me with permanent, emotional scars. I did three shows with this company, and initially, I absolutely loved it. By the third show, the reality of the torment and abuse we the actors go through became clear. Worst experience of my life. This company takes innocent dreams and passions, crushes them, and emotionally damages you. I pity anyone delusional enough to feel this could be a good thing for their child. My only wish is that parents heed my warnings and DO NOT PUT YOUR CHILD IN THIS COMPANY. I’ve been scared to put a review here and to be frank, I’m still petrified. I will never feel safe knowing that these people are not only alive but live in the same area as me. There are plenty of others theatre companies in the area (Acts, Little Theatre, CYT, Black Market, LeGrange High) and all of them are vastly superior. I do not wish to bash anyone, I’m just really worried that the cycle of verbal and mental abuse will continue. Thank you for your time.

My daughter has been under the tutelage of Mr. Onxley going on 3 years now. Its absolutely the BEST decision that we could've made as far as her future in this industry is concerned. I highly recommend CTC to any young aspiring actor/actress that wants to learn the business the right way.
