A farm- and nature-based summer camp at The Center in Palos Park, a nonprofit on 78 acres (60 of them farmland) with horses, ponies, pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, and rabbits. Programs such as Junior Farmers serve children (roughly ages 1-17 across tracks) with guided animal care, outdoor exploration, and the daily routines of a working farm.

Powered by GoogleThis place is such a gem. You can tell that they’re doing something right when so many people with their children talk about their experience when they were kids themselves. It’s obviously a special place for many and I look forward to what will hopefully be many happy experiences there for our family.
Took my 3 yr old there for the petter zoo and during October. Big hay bails with slides for kids to climb and play. Big corn box for kids to play in, had portable animals out to hold and pet with employee supervision, hay rides, small food things, u can see the horses but not interact with them. . Other ones u can go into enclosure with employee and pet the animals .. bit pricey in my mind. But a nice experience . For a day along with a toddler.
We LOVED this! My son asked to come back again before we even left the parking lot. The baby animals were too precious, getting to pet and hold them all was amazing and absolutely everyone so nice and patient with all of the kids. The farm was beautiful as well. Highly recommend bringing your fam for some fun!
Such a cute farm! Loved that each animal is able to be interacted with, lots to do even with little ones, spent a good hour or so here, and they have a little store for fresh eggs, honey, and meat! The workers and volunteers were all very sweet and very helpful with any questions we had about the animals, perfect place for kids and adults alike.

Nature walks, pre-school teaching & all things nature & farm animal related ! Check their website or call for information regarding classes.
