Powered by GoogleI feel teachers and management do a great job giving individual caring and nurturing care to my child and children in their care in general. Open and fast communication, very attentive. My child has an advanced vocabulary and an exploring/wondering mind that has been nurtured during her time at Children"s Courtyard.
Our experience has been nothing short of amazing. My daughter has been attending for nearly two years, and the growth we’ve seen in her socially and emotionally been incredible. The directors and teachers are attentive, compassionate, and always willing to communicate and support both children and parents. It truly feels like a second family, and we’re so thankful to be a part of it.
We have only been going to CCY for 3 months, but it has been the best choice in centers that I could have made. Heather the director, and Rachel the assistant director are absolutely FABULOUS! They go above and beyond to ensure that the children and their families are happy and comfortable. You will rarely see either of them in their offices; you’re more likely to find them sitting in a classroom singing songs with the kids, or doing some sort of creative activity. Seeing that kind of hands on approach from every single employee is such a reassuring feeling when dropping your child off. The toddler room teachers have been incredibly significant in my child’s development. And it is so clear that they TRULY love and care about the kids. The communication with me between directors and teachers alike is very consistent. Using the app to send them messages is easy! And I know that they’ll be answered shortly. Having the cameras in the classroom is a great way to check on your kiddo if you’re like me and miss them randomly through the day! But watching my daughter’s face light up at drop off and to see her still smiling at pick up, is something that is irreplaceable. CCY is above and beyond all the expectations that I had.
Our family has had a wonderful experience at The Children’s Courtyard on Darlington. Both of our kids have thrived here!! Our daughter attended before starting elementary school (she’s in 2nd grade now), and our son is currently in Pre-K. What really stands out is how well they prepare kids for kindergarten. The curriculum at each age level has made a real difference in both of our children’s development. They do a great job helping kids build academic skills alongside the social and emotional development that matters just as much. The communication has been stellar across the board, and we’ve been continually impressed by how every person on the team, from the classroom teachers to the leadership, takes time to connect with the kids (and parents!) personally. They’ve built an environment where our children feel welcomed, engaged, and excited about learning. The foundation our kids have gotten here goes beyond what we expected. We’re thankful for a team that truly cares about preparing children for whatever comes next!
Mom of two and they both have been attending this daycare since they were 1-2 years old! We love it here. We love the teachers, the care, the structure, the support. You can feel the love from the teachers. Heather and Rachel are amazing and always so joyous! I love that you can watch the littles on the cameras, so can check in at anytime and see them playing and having fun. They have learned SO much here!we moved about a year ago and toured other daycares that were closer to our new house, and decided the commute was worth it. The others that we toured didn’t feel as warm and welcoming and didn’t offer the same pre-k structure that this one does. My ONLY con, is the location. It’s not in the best area of town but the staff takes safety of the kids extremely seriously which helps ease that anxiety. Overall, we love it and more importantly my kids love it! :)
