The Center for Rural Development is a nonprofit in Somerset serving a 45-county region of southern and eastern Kentucky. Its youth programs include summer offerings for middle and high schoolers: Rogers Explorers, a summer program for rising ninth-graders held on regional college campuses, and the Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute, a weeklong program for high school freshmen through juniors. Both build teamwork, creativity, business and leadership skills and are offered at no cost to selected students.

Clean and spacious for events. We have hosted several work events there and will continue to do so. Bathrooms are also upkept.

We have our biannual Assemblies there. It is a nice, convenient space with polite workers. Glad to have such an option in our community, they hold many other community events as well.

Attended the KBA basket convention here and was very impressed with the space. It was very spacious and worked well for the event, but there was also tons of space for other things to go on in other areas at the same time. Restrooms, hall and other areas were clean and well attended. Trashcans in hall were never full and overflowing. I never ran out of anything I needed. It was a very pleasant, open space that I could see for lots of type of events. The quilt art on display was beautiful and any staff I encountered were helpful, pleasant and accommodating.

Lovely facility, comfortably accomodated 1200+ people when we attended Jehovah's Witnesses' Circuit Assembly here. Staff seems flexible & professional. Foyer has a phenomenal sunset view.
