The Bridge Down East is a nonprofit youth center on Harkers Island whose free summer program runs Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., for six weeks, serving students in grades 1-8. Days combine academic remediation, one-on-one tutoring and enrichment activities, with free lunch and snack provided.
