The Art Garden is a nonprofit community art-making studio in Shelburne Falls that runs week-long summer programs called Clay & Art in partnership with the neighboring Handle Factory Community Clay Studio. Participants start the morning with clay classes at the Handle Factory, are escorted back to The Art Garden for mixed-media art making, and eat bag lunches on site. The organization also offers free intergenerational open studio times, after-school programming and separate teen programs; Clay & Art registration is handled online.

The selection of materials and care with which they hold space is unmatched in our area. An absolute gem. Not as hard as you’d think to find.
