Powered by GoogleI am extremely pleased with the aftercare program and wanted to share my positive experience. The staff go above and beyond in providing a safe, nurturing environment where my child feels comfortable and supported every day. What truly sets this program apart is their dedication to my child’s academic success. Not only do they ensure his well-being, but they also provide excellent tutoring, especially in Math. I have seen noticeable improvements in his confidence and skills, and he is completing his math homework with greater ease and understanding. Thresa, the owner, demonstrates a genuine commitment to both caring for the children and supporting their educational development, which truly gives me peace of mind. The program also offers engaging activities and exciting field trips on days when school is not in session, making my child eager to return each day. I wholeheartedly recommend this after care program to any parent looking for a nurturing, supportive environment that encourages both growth and learning. Thank you so much for everything you do!
The After School Scholar exceeded all of our expectations. My third grade son was previously enrolled at his school's after school program since kindergarten. We were never satisfied, but I did not know there were superior options until I found The After School Scholar. The owner, Theresa, focuses on quality of care, giving each child the attention they need to complete their homework with comprehension. She knows each student very well and communicates to the parent any issues or improvements pertaining to them. She has recurring activities, like baking, to break up the week. The facility is clean with a few acres for outside activities. It is a very safe environment. My son is very active and loves it. We are life long customers.
Miss Theresa and her staff provide a safe, caring, and fun environment for kids after school. Prices are very reasonable with kids having their choice of participating in tutoring, baking, outdoor play, or just relaxing. If you are in need of aftercare, you should definitely check them out.
We went to after school scholar after we did not get into there school’s summer camp and I was worried if my kids would miss their school summer camp but to my surprise they started liking it and we continued with there after care as well and the best part as a working parent is that the home work gets done by the time I pick them up and the kids just want to stay longer and play with their friends outdoors as they are done with their homework, I have only positive things about the school and have already recommended several parents. Ms Theresa is so helpful and on top of things and they have the best tutors as well.
I was recommended by another parent and I’m so happy I found this program. When I pick my daughter up in the evenings she never wants to leave.I love the beautiful open space the children have outside as well as the warm and cozy interior of the building. Most after care programs are chaotic and uninviting but with this program Ms. Theresa and Ms.Abby always insures the children are engaged in activities. They assist with homework and encourage reading for 15 minutes and document it (which helps a bunch for busy parents/late pickups like myself) . They also have themed events during the holidays/ non holidays , like water day, pumpkin decorating, baking cookies and writing letters to Santa. I would literally recommend this program to any parent that’s looking for something where your child isn’t being neglected and they are truly being loved and listened to .
