Texoma Youth Camp is a 53-acre camp on the Little Mineral arm of Lake Texoma, about ten miles north of Pottsboro. It hosts week-long summer camps that are planned and facilitated by partner churches and nonprofit organizations rather than by the camp itself, using the lakeside setting for character-building recreation. Teens from across North Texas attend the sponsor-run sessions.

The best days of my childhood were spent here. Even met my long lost twin.

Went with our teens from Church for a week of camp. Last time I went to camp when I was 11 back in 1953. It was a great week and will go back next summer if needed or invited. I grew up in the Finger Lakes in New York State and the west end of this lake looked like the southern end of Seneca Lake.

Though the place wasn't very up to date. It was beautiful and really allowed me to get in touch with nature and allowed me to feel the holly spirit. I cannot express what this place means to me, i have made some amazing memories and have made some wonderful friendships that will last me a life time. This place has a special place in my heart. It has an amazing view of the lake and a wonderful swimming spot. It also has an exquisite hiking trail in the woods by that camp. They have soccer fields and a tennis court. And even a tether ball poll. But i spent most of my time sitting on a bench swing looking out at the lake and reconnecting with my heavenly father.
