Texas Lions Camp is a free residential summer camp on 500+ acres in Kerrville for Texas children ages 7–16 with physical disabilities, Down syndrome, Type 1 diabetes, or cancer (Camp Discovery). Founded by the Lions of Texas in 1949, it provides adapted recreation, peer support and medical care at no charge — lodging, meals, activities and medical support are all free. Applications open each January.
