Teton Valley Ranch Camp is such a special place where campers can totally unplug from screen time. It allows kids the opportunity to be kids and grow into young adults with a total focus on confidence in life skills!

Some good memories here when I was younger but I did get bullied very badly, they say they take bullying very seriously which is a lie as I didn’t receive much help with it at all it steadily continued throughout my entire stay no matter how much I told staff about it.

The process of selecting a summer camp for your child is a daunting one and certainly not one to take lightly. I spent weeks pouring over reviews, researching and calling each one. At the end of this process, one alone stood out to me. Teton Valley Ranch Camp checked all of the boxes of our initial criteria. The decision was made, TVRC it would be. While I was concerned it would take a bit for my otherwise shy, cautious child to adapt, he quickly assimilated into camp life and did not miss a beat. When I arrived at the end of camp I was greeted by a confident and happy child who was eager to show me all that he accomplished in the month away. Not only did Teton Valley Ranch Camp (TVRC) accomplish all they purported to do, but they far exceeded our expectations for what a month long sleep away camp would provide for our child. Fast forward almost 3 years later and we continue to be amazed and inspired by TVRC. The "stepping away" from technology and disconnecting from the flood that social media brings allows him to "step into" nature, to be in the present moment with his friends and counselors, stretching and growing in his physical abilities, and learning and expanding in his social development. This is not simply something that fades as the long summer days fade , but is ever present in my son, in our home and that he has taken with him as he confidently stretches beyond his comfort zone in sports and activities. We are "lifers". We stopped looking at other camps the minute we discovered TVRC and have never looked back. We found his "2nd home" and he cannot wait to return each year. In fact if you were to ask him today he would excitedly share with you, only 219 more days!

You won’t find a better outdoor adventure camp out there! Our daughters have been to camp for the last 3 years and talk about it every day of the year they aren’t there. They’ve created countdown charts and paper chains the day they get home (I promise home life is a good life too!!!). Upon pickup each year, our girls walk us to the nearest sign up station for the following year. It’s never been a question as to if we’ll be back. If you like the outdoors, there’s something for everyone. Horseback riding, camping, fishing, dancing, swimming, riflery, crafting, jewelry making, back packing- to name just a few! There’s a friend for everyone and the friendships forged have been such treasures for our campers. Not only is the setting one out of the movies, the staff are top notch. The life lessons our daughters have learned have been and will continue to be so valuable. The staff have always been so invested, positive, fun and influences for the good. We are blessed as a family to be a part of the TVRC family and feel fortunate we took the leap to make it happen. It has forever made an impact for the good on our entire family. TVRC is a 10/10 every year, every time.
