Techniques In Motion is a dance school at 5543 Carolina Beach Road in Wilmington teaching tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop, pointe, acrobatics, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre and leaps-and-turns, with preschool classes from age 2 and a DanceAbilities class for students with special needs. Its summer offering is a six-week recreational class session running roughly June 9 to July 16 rather than a day camp, so it does not cover a workday. Classes are open-enrollment and suitable for trying a new discipline or continuing training.
