Team Soldier Hollow is the youth cross-country ski and biathlon club of Soldier Hollow Nordic Center in Midway, the 2002 Olympic Nordic venue run by the nonprofit Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation. Soldier Hollow's beginner program, Kickers and Gliders, teaches children ages 6 to 11 the basics of classic and skate skiing in twice-weekly winter sessions, with skis, boots and poles provided. Skiers can progress to DEVO for ages 10 to 14 and COMP for ages 14 to 22, and middle and high school students can train in biathlon, which adds precision rifle shooting to cross-country skiing. Needs-based scholarships are offered to all families.
