I got a tour of the water treatment plant and it's so interesting how Farmington, S bar F, and Fredericktown work together in their water systems. The place is also FEMA certified so the water is very clean.

Swift Base is amazing fun for Venturing Crews and older Scout programs! They provide canvas wall tents already set up, and the campgrounds have plenty of room for your own tents if you'd prefer that. There are plenty of activities to keep even the most adventurous and energetic scout engaged. Situated right on Nims Lake, the camp offers swimming, canoeing, kayaking, sailing Aqua Finns and catamarans, s well as water skiing, tubing, and knee boarding with their power boats. The lodge functions as the office, trading post, kitchen, and dining hall. Besides the main pavilion near the lodge, there is a basketball court, sand volleyball area, horseback riding, pistol, rifle, and shotgun ranges. Also, the Nims Overlook pavilion, the tree houses, Adirondack cabins, teepees, Huck's Cove water fun area, Castle Rock, all of which your Crew has the option of staying at, and so much more!

Great view. Perfect for scouts to explorer and work on requirements outside or summer camps. Even better program during summer camp for high adventure.
