City of Phoenix community center hosting the PHXPlays summer day camp for ages 6-12, with arts and crafts, STEM projects, gym and group games, sports and field trips, plus lunch and snacks provided daily. Camp runs weekdays 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from late May through July 31, closing on city holidays. Fees are $15 per day or $60 per week. Located at 802 E. Vogel Ave.

I through out my shoulder teaching my son to play pickelball on a tennis court. Don’t do that; ! It leaves absolutely too much room to chase the ball!! You have to play on a pickleball court. On the other side of the center they have classes for all ages actually and I’m involved in at least half of them. Come and share the fun with us!! The lunches and parties for all occasions are exciting too!!!
