Powered by GoogleI visited here as I had a Partner Resort season pass, so I could get free 3 day tickets, but the resort required me to purchase a RFID reloadable card. It's good place for local learners to have fun, not recommended for foreign skiers. As lifts were very slow and outdated
Was really excited to try this mountain with Indy Pass. Went 3/7 - started off poorly and remained that way the entire day. Before getting our day tickets, there was a tech issue with Indy. Not the resorts fault, but the ticket window supervisor lacked any customer service skills and instead chose to argue VS be solution oriented. While I was working on this issue, an older, male worker who was opening the 'ticket queue' just setting up one of those retractable belts basically, decided to grab my girlfriend by her hips, from behind, without any verbal request or excuse me, and physically moved her. I didn't see because I was busy arguing with the ticket manager, but its probably better for him that way. I will however be working with the local police and my attorney to ensure this assault isn't swept under the rug, and this possible predator be allowed to continue to interact with the public. We got two drinks total at the bar, 30 bucks, not much better than the mega resorts. A small snack, chips fries etc, 30 bucks, all tasted objectively awful. Later in the day, they had some ski patrol get together, like a group training or tryout, and one of the female patrollers or applicants, decided it would be a great idea to show off to her friends. She cut between my girlfriend and I when we were five feet apart. I was following close because she is learning to ski. The patrollers then had the audacity to yell at me. 1. Your signs all over indicate a minimum 15 ft space requirement. 2. Downhill skier has the right of way. I am flabbergasted by this behavior and honestly scared for any visitor to a mountain that hires so poorly. She skiied off after yelling, so no name, but she was brunette, chubby, medium height, female, with a deeper voice. It happened 3/7 around 1 pm by the second chair. I addition, we purchased a hat and hoody from the shop in the morning, before they day was completely ruined, and spent 100 bucks on stuff we will now never use to avoid advertising for such a sham of a place. All in all, of you want employees manhandling you and potentially touching your kids and partners, go here. If you want ski patrollers who act like steezy teens who ruin the mountain and are on a power trip, go here. If you like paying the same price as mega resorts without the perks, go here. If you like skiing avoid this place like the plague. Shout out the the ski instructor on 3/7 - she was the only helpful and normal employee we encountered all day. She was the sole reason we got the day passue issue resolved and probably the biggest asset to this mountain.
I really want to gatekeep this resort but I won't. Its perfect. An old school ski lodge with sufficient food and an excellent bar fully prepared to make any hot (or cold) drink you want. Highly recommend the hot apple cider and the hot coco with a shot of amaretto. The lessons are excellent and have taught many of my friends on their first day on the mountain. Makes me wish I had taken lessons here when I was new. So affordable and has everything you need. I. Love. This. Place.
Great place to ski with a family. Very affordable and close to Glenwood. We had a group of 6 kids and 4 adults and everyone enjoyed the snow. Snack bar had very good food and was cheap!!! I highly recommend the Chicago hot dog. Delicious. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating.
This ski resort is a Hidden Gem. Not only does it have second steepest Peak in Colorado: THE HEATHEN, it also has a wide variety of intermediate and beginner level runs. The staff is super friendly and they have a lot of trainers for ski school. This is excellent for families with kids because the trainers take groups of three and four kids up the mountain and have them up and skiing in one day. It is amazing to see kids who have never seen before within an hour are heading down the slopes with the instructors. I highly recommend this Ski Resort it is a double A+ those who love to ski and have a variety of courses available to them. This location is great for groups who are at all different levels of skiing skills. They have everything from double black diamonds down to beginner green and blue intermediate runs.
