Our son has had a wonderful experience at Suncatcher Forest School. He loves the animals, the forest, the rain, and all the outdoor adventures with the teachers there. We really appreciate how Suncatcher gives children a real connection with nature. Our son comes home with stories about feeding rabbits, collecting eggs, seeing deer, and playing happily outside in all kinds of weather. Teacher Ksenia is warm, caring, and thoughtful. Suncatcher has been a very special part of our son’s childhood, and we are very grateful.

This is the best Forest School ever! I know, what it takes for the owner to keep it running and how much they care for the kids. They even provide amazing homemade lunches if the kid forgot lunch at home. Teachers are very passionate about kids and outdoors, and the curriculum is built meticulously around the knowledge of local nature. So if you are on the fence, be sure to tour this school!

We had such a positive experience with Suncatcher Forest School. The owner is incredibly kind, flexible, and genuinely listens to families — something that really sets this school apart. The site itself is beautiful, calm, and thoughtfully designed to help children connect with nature while learning through exploration and play. The program is engaging, caring, and clearly built with heart and intention. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and depth of what’s offered, and it’s evident that every detail has been considered to create a nurturing environment. I can’t recommend Suncatcher Forest School enough — it’s a truly special place run by people who care deeply about children and their development.

I spent the entire week at summer camp with my little one, and so many moments left me deeply grateful—for life, for this place, and for the people who make it so special. The school is a perfect fit for our family: nature-immersed, child-led, and full of kindness. Ksenia and Marsha treat every child with such compassion, care, and love. They honor the children’s choices and curiosity, and gently guide them through challenges. It’s beautiful to watch. The days are filled with rich, engaging activities, and the kids are free to join as they wish. My observant little one, who I thought might feel uneasy, surprised me by settling in with calm and ease. Beyond all this, Ksenia offered us incredible flexibility—welcoming me to stay as long as I liked and adjusting schedules with true understanding. She sees what families need and responds with generosity. Thank you, from the heart, for all the joy and warmth you’ve brought into our lives. I can’t wait to see how my little one’s journey unfolds in this wonderful school.

Toddler friendly excavator detected!!! Finally, there is a smaller size of excavator that my little one could play with on his own. Besides there are some animals that you could pet (chickens and a bunny). Overall kids having various outdoor activities and exploration is endless: walking on the bridges, throwing rocks into the river, cook at the summer kitchen, play inside the tent like a real camper. In case of raining, there is a warm house with transparent roof and some indoor activities. Loved it and totally recommend.
