Powered by GoogleMy little has been attending the Tiny Tots and absolutely loves it. Lets face it - anything that can engage a 4 yr old for 30 min is amazing! She's eager and excited to go and has lots of fun. This is clearly because Coach Stacy engages with her and teaches her new skills while making it fun (because sports should be fun!). Highly recommend.
Three years ago, I started working with Coach Gordon and it has been a great experience. Coach Gordon provides a welcoming environment to learn. He has a keen ability to teach the game and help his players tune into the mental gymnastics that come with tennis. He balances keeping the game fun for me and the other players while challenging us to step up and grow. His situational advice and his extensive knowledge of tennis is key. I have seen noticeable improvements in my game and my skills have sharpened, growing from playing tennis to being competitive in tennis leagues. I highly recommend Coach Gordon to anyone who is motivated to play tennis and feels like they could use the expertise and guidance to take their game to the next level!
My son has been playing tennis at STC with Coach Gordon since Fall of 2022. He was brand new to the sport and we picked STC simply because it was convenient. He started playing in two beginner group lessons each week until he was invited to play on the tennis team at STC. He now plays in the Academy at STC and for his high school team. I can’t thank Coach Gordon enough for the difference he has made in my son’s life. He now plays 3-6 days each week over at STC. He has learned so much from Coach Gordon. My son has developed into a strong tennis player, but it’s more than that, he has made really good friends through his classes at STC and has gained confidence, it’s really changed him as a person. Besides tennis lessons, the coaches also organize social events for the kids at STC including teen nights with pizza and games and summer camp. All of this to keep the kids active and having fun while learning tennis. I know that finding a coach that’s a good fit for your kid can be challenging for any sport, but I have no doubt that we found the right coach for my son in Coach Gordon at STC.
My 8 year old took her first lesson with Coach Stacy and loved it! This is the most affordable tennis lesson I’ve found and it has been more than expected. For an hour, Coach Stacy worked with each kid and made sure they got the basics down. She had tennis rackets and offered my daughter to use since she didn’t have the correct size . They all had fun and engaged well with one another. I appreciate that there are lessons in the morning for homeschooled children and am definitely bringing my daughter every week.
Coach Stacey is great for introducing children to the game of tennis. Highly recommend. Gordon is fine if your kids have zero intention of becoming serious tennis players. Doesn’t really seem to be engaged with coaching or teaching kids fundamental techniques.
