Powered by GoogleSummer Success Institute has made my little girl smile over and over again! When I have to work , instead of TV or screen time, we love sending her so she can learn, create, and play all day! The time frame of camp is very work friendly and my daughter always wants to go back!!!
After a long and often frustrating search for the right fit, we finally found the perfect camp for our son — and we couldn’t be happier! We gave the Summer Success Institute a try over spring break, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The staff is absolutely amazing — warm, professional, and genuinely invested in the kids’ growth. What impressed me most is that it’s not just fun and games (although there’s plenty of that too); they include academics in a way that’s engaging and supportive, which will make the transition back to school so much smoother. I honestly can’t say enough good things about the Summer Success Institute — it’s a rare gem!
Summer Success Institute has been an amazing addition to our summers! As a mom working in the world education and caregiving, I know there is SO much value in continuing to keep those academic skills sharp. But what I love most is the focus on the WHOLE child. SSI focuses on learning, yes, but also character education, fun, connections with friends, and community. It's the whole package! Here are some examples of what I mean: -My son came home from camp the Summer before entering Kindergarten accurately describing empathy. (See Video) -Just before he entered 2nd grade, he went through the proper way to apologize ("Mommy you say their name, say I'm sorry and say exactly what you did that you're sorry for. And then you say "Would you please forgive me?"). -He loves the community presenters too: Therapy dogs, Jungle Gardens, Park Rangers, Firefighters, Horses, bee and honey experts (sometimes with a portable hive!), fossil clubs. There is so much learning he gets from the community as well! -He has also come home several Summers now understanding and talking about Shakespeare's themes: Hamlet, Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet. He's only 8 years old! -He's been to camp two days this summer, and he's already asked to download an app for Scratch Coding, told me all about Real World Math and how they had to figure out the cost of movie tickets and popcorn for all the kids in their group (16), how he's got one of his friends in his group and how excited he was to see some of his friends that he only sees at camp. It's so important to me that he is not only challenged academically, but that he keeps his social skills strong and that I'm sending him somewhere that cares about him as whole human - not just his test scores. I am so grateful for the vision, hard work, and attention to detail (and fun!) that embodies Summer Success Institute! You won't regret enrolling your child!
We love SSI! Our daughter had a blast last summer, and she learned so much too! We loved that she was working on reading and math skills and playing with new friends instead of staring at a screen. A favorite memory was the talent show where she practiced her stage presence! All of the staff are phenomenal. Her little sister cannot wait to join her for summer camp this year.
What an amazing experience my daughters had this summer in SSI! They learned so much and made wonderful friends. The teachers are caring and prepared in their field. My daughters came back to me every afternoon in one piece, with a big smile and not even a bow was missing. Autumn, the owner takes care of the kiddos as if they were her own children. If I can describe this summer camp with one word, it will be EXCELLENCE. I hope your kids get to experience it!
