Powered by GoogleI am a student of Sukadhwani for about 7-8 years. In every class we would do something creative and different and it was humbling but very fun. I also learned lots of patience and discipline which helped with my time management and my good memorization skills. Every time I am learning something different and I hope to grow as a musician in the future.
My daughter is a student Sukadhwani institute for the past one year . Neyveli Ramalakshmi mam and her assistants are very good not only in teaching music but also making it interesting for the young kids. My 8 yr old daughter always look forward to going to her music class and she enjoys learning this art form. We are proud to be part of the Sukadhwani family .
I have been a Sukadhwani student for around five years, and I’m fortunate to have done my Arangetram last year with Sukadhwani. I still learn from Rama Aunty even after starting college, and I personally love being a part of this music school! From the friendly, encouraging environment to the great teachers and organized syllabus, Sukadhwani offers not only an opportunity to dive into Carnatic Music, but also enjoy the process of learning. Seeing Rama Aunty and her passion and kindness when teaching, I’ve been inspired to help out teaching younger students. Aunty is very understanding, and she genuinely works with each student to help them succeed in this art form. I definitely believe Sukadhwani is a great platform for students to learn and grow in their Carnatic Music journey.
I've been learning from Neyveli Ramalakshmi since I was 5 years old, and now I'm 21, three years past my arangetram, and paying for my own lessons. This is the power of the passion Ramaa auntie instills in all her students. Ramaa auntie has huge technical knowledge in Carnatic music and in performance, and it is a privilege to be her student. Her kindness and patience have formed a beautiful community that I'm so proud to be part of. I get to learn alongside students my age, broaden my techniques and knowledge, and listen to my peers perform. I'm very grateful that Sukadhwani gives me the chance to stay connected to this artform, and I hope to continue for as long as I can.
Learning music at Sukadhwani has been one of the best long-term experiences that I have had. I’ve been learning from Rama Aunty for around a decade and I am very fortunate to have her as my teacher. I have continued learning even after my arangetram because Rama Aunty brings out the best in each of her students and has helped me grow both as a musician and as a person.
