Just For Kix Streator is a local franchise of the national Just For Kix dance program, directed by Lori Cinnamon and held at the Church of the Open Bible at 701 S. Sterling St. Its summer camps are short sessions rather than day camps: a preschool camp for ages 3-5 is a single two-hour day of dance routines, games and crafts built around basic motor skills, and a Mini Technique Camp for 2nd-5th graders runs two days for three hours of instruction total. The wider program also runs weekly no-audition classes in kick, jazz, lyrical, pom, ballet and hip hop from preschool through high school, grouped by age.
