I can’t recommend STICK WITH IT! highly enough - I had the pleasure of playing with this club back in 2012-2014 as a high school student. This program improved my skill as a lacrosse player, allowing me to contribute more meaningfully to my high school team. Playing here also introduced me to the idea of playing at the collegiate level. Through the guidance of the coaching staff and opportunities to play in various recruiting tournaments, I was able to find the perfect D3 program to continue my lacrosse career. Not only did playing with STICK WITH IT! influence my lacrosse career, it also influenced my personal growth. This program does an outstanding job of using lacrosse to instill lifelong values such as commitment, hard work, accountability, and leadership, all within a fun and supportive environment. While I am no longer a competitive athlete, the lessons I learned through STICK WITH IT! still shape me as a person today. The coaching staff - especially founder and owner Coach McCleary - are incredible mentors for young women, and truly care about the members of this program as people first, players second.

STICK WITH IT! has been such a positive experience for our family. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable, but what truly sets this program apart is the emphasis on teamwork, confidence, and love of the game. It’s not just about individual fundamentals or highlighting one “star” player—every athlete is treated equally, given a role, and encouraged to contribute as part of the team. Practices are fun, supportive, and intentionally positive, which makes a huge difference, especially for young players learning the sport. The coaches focus on building strong fundamentals while also helping kids fall in love with lacrosse, knowing those skills and that passion will carry forward as they grow. As a parent of a young girl learning the game, I really appreciate the environment they’ve created—not just teaching lacrosse, but teaching how to be a good teammate and a good person. From the moment my daughter joined STICK WITH IT! Lacrosse, I knew it was going to be different from all her other club experiences - and going to be an amazing experience for her. Owner and Coach Amy McCleary is truly passionate about mentoring every single one of her players to grow—both on and off the field. She brings her D1 coaching experience to the club level and has built a program of excellence. She is incredibly knowledgeable, motivating, and truly cares about developing each athlete to be their best, no matter their skill level. She actively coaches in the moment, with corrections for improvement and kudos for great work. She is the biggest cheerleader and advocate for every girl she coaches, while also holding them accountable and challenging them to give their all in everything they do. I could go on and on, but what I appreciate most is what truly sets this team and coaching apart from others- Coach goes beyond just teaching great lacrosse skills. As someone who played for STICK WITH IT! for 7 years and was a Captain for 4 years, I have nothing but great things to say about this club. The team culture is so welcoming and supportive of everyone, and it is all about building each other up. Practices are filled with purposeful drills and a meaningful amount of play, along with many smiles and laughter! Tournaments are filled with a friendly competitive spirit, with an intent to learn something every game, as well as some super fun team bonding! This club has allowed me to grow my skills and become the best player I could be. I've not only learned about lacrosse but also learned several life lessons from Coach McCleary. Throughout my time here, I've gained lifelong friendships and felt a part of this amazing community, which I like to call my family. Coach McCleary is a passionate coach, and she always has the players' best interests in mind. She is beyond supportive and was a HUGE aid in my recruiting process to play in college. I have never felt so supported by a coach before, and she truly cares and wants every individual to succeed.
