Powered by GoogleOur granddaughter is 7 years old and attended Steve & Kate's camp for the first time in summer 2025. She has attended two others in Sonoma County and Steve & Kate's was by far the best fit. In our granddaughter's words she loved the "freedom" offered by the camp. She came home with baked goods, sewing projects, and numerous art projects on a daily basis. The ability to select activities of her choice made for a very positive experience. The counselors we interfaced with were excellent and safety protocols were also exceptional. We would highly recommend Steve & Kate's summer camp.
I used to go there as a kid and I loved it. I remember when there was a tiny rubber chicken you had to find and you'd get a prize if you find it. I made music in the studio there and it was OK. If the owners are reading this who were there in 2014, my name is Quentin and I miss you guys. For actual review, it's the BEST place.
My son is on the spectrum amd has speech impairment and was attending Kamp chaos, I was reassured by Dr. monkey, the park regional staff director, the The Mark West district school, The private aid that was being funded by the school my son would be safe. He was not. When I arrived on the day of the camp of the third day, my son was being restraint unlawfully by Dr. monkey and the aid that was supplied by the Mark West school district. I found my son his hurling cry. I also had friends In the park the day before, watching my son, not being held properly by the staff I would not recommend your child going here due to Under-qualified staff and false promises. The aid lied in her report as well, and nothing has been done about this. I am writing this today to warn other parents To watch out and be aware about this summer camp that is meant for kids with special needs.
I highly recommend Steve and Kate’s camp. My kids have attended a couple of summers and they love it! The staff is very attentive, friendly and they communicate every detail of the day. The activities within the squads change frequently to keep the kids engaged.
Really good camp!
