STARS Theater Company is a Bedford educational youth theater (since 1994) for ages 8-18. Its summer program centers on an annual large-cast summer musical with orchestra, plus camps that teach students to design and build scenery; repertory companies for ages 8-13 and teens work with professional directors and choreographers, casting every member in every show.

LuAnne has directed this group for years finds a place for everyone. The kids grow up together. Because they were supported and taken under wing by the older kids when they started, that tradition gets passed on so that everyone feels welcome. The focus is on fun and on putting the kids on stage. There is also vocal and dance instruction as part of each show.
