Stafford's Best After School Program and Summer Camp

Only giving it a 2 because of Sage and Chris. However, I would like to say good things but can’t. Nothing that was promised happened. Never provided the taekwondo lessons, never helped with homework, coaches are not trained properly they have no idea how to handle disable children. Unfortunately, Lisa (Master Young) lie about her capabilities. Lisa Young has stated being able to handle children with disabilities (i.e ADHD and emotional dysregulation etc.) however seem to be emotional herself. As of today Lisa Young has revoked membership because of her diagnosis though she dressed as my child breaking policy that she and untrained coaches triggered despite my advice, techniques, knowledge Lisa and the rest go their own path and traumatized my baby (Not Sage). They made several allegations but never provided proof except 1 audio until recently when i asked for record or proof and why it wasn’t brought to my attention I received no response but walked into the facility and Lisa avoids me and goes to the back room and leave poor Sage (brand new director to try to fix problems) Chris young disregarded me as well sadly , I give to him though I’ve seen him get overwhelmed with Lisa as well and he was more patient with my daughter. So, if your child has a diagnosis similar to my girl do not send them here Lisa will not be taken of care of properly Lisa says she can but can’t its all for money, Chris seems to be the only genuine one and it sad because she has a similar child of her own and she be more suitable but it clear she isn’t.

Both of my sons have been coming here after school since the fall and they love it! Especially the taekwondo classes. They love the variety of activities offered and are excited for Summer Camp! Highly recommend for working parents, they are open later than other providers in the area.

Awesome Kids Youth Sports and their sister company US Academy of Taekwondo offer AMAZING programs! My daughter started Taekwondo here when she was 4 years old, she made so many friends and her behavior was improved as was her ability to focus which helped in school. Being a single mom I also needed after school care because at that time I worked in Alexandria and then Richmond. This was also a fantastic program and she made even more friends that went to her school even! Summer came so she did Summer Camp and she had FUN! She went places that I just didn't have time or the ability to take her to on my own. The summers she spent at Summer Camp are simply unmatched. If you are looking for these services for your kids then just do your self a favor and give them a call to enroll your children - best decision I ever made for my child.

After moving to stafford a year ago . I was in a desperate need in finding after care . Seeing the reviews made me hopeful . After the first few days of signing up with awesome kids my children had such a great time . They even got to learn Taekwondo which is a plus . Unfortunately with me having to move out of the area so soon as overwhelming as it has been , the awesome kids staff reassured they’re there at ANYTIME.I even got offered extended days , which as a single mom this is much needed ! I truly appreciate the time and care they have shown my kids and now extended to me . They have been a breath of fresh air ! Thank you thank you thank you !!
