Powered by GoogleWent to watch Prince of Egypt there this last Saturday, and what a pleasant and joyous experience. The community support of the theatre shows in all aspects, the happiness of the audience discussing the play afterward was infectious. It was awesome that the cast came out and spoke with the audience. Can't say enough good things about it!
Just saw "The Prince of Egypt.". This was my first time to visit the theatre. I was very impressed by the venue. The seats are comfortable and everything was extremely clean and tidy. The play itself was remarkable! I was blown away by every aspect of the production. It is hard to imagine the amount of talent in these volunteer actors. The singing and dancing were excellent, as was the acting. Scenery, lighting and sound were extraordinary. I was afraid I was being dragged to what would amount to a high school production, but I could not have been more mistaken. I am going to follow City Theatre and plan to attend whenever I am in town.
We love this local, community theater. Each production is such a testimony to the dedication of the many volunteers that make it happen. Tonight we went to “Prince of Egypt” and it was an epic performance. Way beyond what we normally think of a community theater! Very professional, beautiful set designs, affordable tickets, and most importantly….so much love that is tangible in each production.
We had the pleasure of attending the St Petersburg City Theatre production of A Christmas Carol. We enjoyed it so much. Loved that it was inspired by real local events. The actors were excellent!!! I love the way that their acting skills and stage settings took you back to the days of your imagination creating the story of A Christmas Carol and coming to life in your mind. We were very impressed with the gentleman doing the sound effects. His sound effects were right on and his acting was delightful. He wasn't just performing sound effects, he was a genuine part of the acting. The cast of stars were continually moving and acting various skits in the background. It kept your constant attention. Brilliant production 👏
Love this theater! It's very welcoming - a great atmosphere overall combined with popular productions and a welcoming staff. So glad to see they've 'weathered' the hurricanes and are back up and running. If you're looking for a fun local activity, check out their upcoming schedule. You'll be glad you did.
