I’d give 0 if I could. Ive been dealing with the Y for me and my family for years! This is the only location I’ve had an issue with. Signed my son up for basketball never received a schedule mind you it’s less than a week away. Just paid $150 to do the membership and get him in basketball. Canceled and was told I’d get the $75 back at least. I had a prior balance from 4/5 years ago at another location so they only refunded me back $31! Less than 2 weeks ago they were given $150 total for absolutely nothing. Was told one thing and they didn’t follow through. The communication at this place is laughable. From reading other reviews on youth sports I’m so glad I pulled my son out and went with I9 sports! Much more organized and communication is there ! Would not recommend this Y to anyone looking for youth sports.
This has been the most frustrating volleyball session for my daughter. The schedules are not sent out in a timely manner and the new refs are terribly undertrained causing a lot of problems. They also refuse to lift the basketball hoops for vball games which makes it very hard for the kids to serve and play the whole court. Very disappointing!!!
My son played in the kids basketball league for one session. His coach was the best coach he’s ever had for a sport, and my son really enjoyed his team. However, many games were rescheduled, refs showed up late, the championship games were rescheduled three times in less than 24 hours and the location was changed three times as well with the last changes occurring the day of with less than an hour notice. Some games were played in Ferguson, others at St. Charles HS, quite the difference in distance when games are changed last minute. The league was affordable but the disorganization made it difficult.
