St. Andrews Bay Yacht Club runs Panama City Youth Sailing Camps open to the public (no membership required) for ages 6 to 18. Two-week Monday-Friday sessions run all summer, with a morning block (8am-12pm) for beginners ages 6-12 and an afternoon block (1pm-5pm) for intermediates ages 13-18. Sailors earn a completion certificate and skipper card.

Last time I had a chance to visit, we were outside for business after hours even with the local chamber of commerce. The weather and the view were just perfect for this. They set up all the tables on the green and there were tables available by the fire pit. My favorite two places here are probably the inside bar with the overview of the water and the upstairs room. I can just see a wedding or a big anniversary dinner being celebrated there. I believe they might be providing all the linens too, but I just love how well balanced this place it.
