SpringSpirit is a Houston nonprofit founded in 2009 that runs low-cost or free sports, education and mentoring programs for youth in northern Spring Branch, operating from Pitner Road and Campbell Road. Its baseball program offers a recreational track open to all skill levels that teaches fundamentals, and a competitive track focused on player development, both in a Christian environment; the organization also runs softball, soccer, summer camps, literacy programs and mentoring. In FY24 it served about 2,700 people, including 700 youth in recreational sports and 550 in competitive sports.
