The productions are always entertaining, professional, and full of talent, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming every time you walk through the doors. A huge shoutout to Executive Director Beth Domann — she is one of the kindest and funniest people you’ll ever meet, and her passion for the theater truly shows. You can tell there are so many great people behind the scenes working hard to make every event memorable. ★★★★★Cassi DaugetteWe came to Springfield for a Saturday event and we weren't sure how we were going to spend Saturday evening. We searched around and found tickets to a local showing of The Waitress at Little Theater. I grabbed tickets and we headed out! Once we sat down, I quickly realized why these tickets were still available... it's very hard to see from FF row. I spent the first half of the show leaning every which way around the folks in front of me to see what the actors were up to. Luckily, no one came to sit in the seat next to me or in front of me so I just moved over in the second half and had a better experience, but I unfortunately don't recommend the F row seats. If the people in front of you decide to lean forward (which several of them did for me), they block nearly the entire front half of the stage from view. Other than that, what an incredible little venue. Amazing performers and cozy space! Enjoy this gem Springfield!
★★★★★Emma ElliottSpringfield Little Theatre produces Broadway level shows right here in the Midwest. The theater is stunning, the staff is so fun and helpful, and the productions are next level. They even have an actual Broadway Star join them in shows every couple of seasons! How cool is that? If you want high quality performances for a decent price, this is WELL worth it.
