★★★Susan OstermanWe have enjoyed watching the Springfield Drifters Baseball team for the last three years because it's a family and kid friendly venue; it's fun watching the little kids chase after the foul balls, coming back with a smile and the balls in hand. The ballpark has rules about foul language and general civility while there as this is a family friendly venue. Unfortunately, whomever chooses the music they blare out in the ballpark needs to be replaced as their choices are inappropriate and offensive; last night, 7/9/25, the music, including one of the batters' walk-up songs, contained sexual content that fully described acts that even caused adults to blush. With the many genres of music and the huge amount of songs to choose from, I don't think it's asking too much to clean up the music being played at the Drifters' games. Springfield Drifters management team, part of your job is to mentor young people; set the example and follow your own rules about foul language and rethink the language content of the music being played. If the music content is cleaned up, the rating becomes 5 stars. Regarding the ballgames, it's fun cheering on college baseball players from all over the country getting to extend their season playing the sport they love. Go Drifters!
★★★Coyier MaezI'm not trying to a Karen but when I was close to the drifters dugout the coach was cussing but he was near the bat boy that looked like a 7 year old and cussing near children is bad and he could easily hold it in but the stadium is okay and the food (mostly hot dog) are good but sometimes not family friendly
