We traveled from San Diego, CA for an MLB Trailblazer Series Baseball Camp for my daughter Ellie, we booked a cage reservation to get some hitting in the day before and it was not a great facility and left after 30 mins, I quickly looked for another place and I found Sport Matrix and Charles welcomed us in and made room for both my kids to hit and pitch last minute. The facility is amazing and lots of room. Staff was excellent and we got a lot of quality work in. I visited this facility on vacation, and came across it on Google. I came in as one of his lessons was finishing up, and he took the time before he closed for the day to throw with me. This facility is top-notch, and Charles was very helpful and hospitable. If I’m ever in the area again I will most certainly come back here. I would recommend this to any baseball player. Charles Brown, at Sportmatrix, has played a huge role in our sons pitching journey. Peyton started training with Charles in 2019. He has given Peyton many tools to use in his toolbox and had been his constant. Due to his guidance and support, he continues to excel in his baseball career. With his specialized and personal training, Peyton knows the importance of arm care both on and off the field. He was throwing 82-84 FB, slider and a curve ball in 2019. He is now throwing a 94 mph fastball and Charles has added a couple other pitches to Peytons repertoire. My husband and I are incredibly grateful.

A review from a little league mom: this season was my eldest son's first season playing baseball and he had little to no experience. He really enjoyed playing but because of some behavioral difficulties he struggled to focus and maintain his composure at team practices. He would become easily frustrated and would give up. I had previously been to Sportmatrix for a team practice and decided to reach out to Coach Charles and ask for help. I sent him a long winded message and even some videos of him at practice and without hesitation he jumped at the opportunity to help him. He was totally undetured by the video of my son stomping and throwing his glove repeatedly in the field. He reassured me that we just needed to make practice fun and engaging for him. He took the time to ask me questions about him, his likes and interests and used those things while working with him. After just 2 practices with Coach Charles I saw a noticeable difference in his hand eye coordination, fielding, hitting and most importantly his self confidence!
