Spokane Indians Youth Baseball & Softball is a nonprofit that runs recreational youth baseball and softball leagues across the Inland Northwest for boys and girls roughly ages 4 to 15, including players with special needs. Seasons rather than camps: spring brings co-ed T-ball and coach pitch (ages 4-8) and recreational baseball (8-12) plus competitive teams 9u-13u; summer runs T-ball/coach pitch (4-8) and recreational baseball (8-15); fall adds a games-only recreational league and a competitive league. The organization is governed by community leaders and raises funds for scholarships, fields and players with physical challenges.

I have coached in this league a few seasons and, from what I’ve seen at the lower kids level, it’s very well run. The kids get equipment, games are scheduled correctly, and everyone has fun.

Tried this league for 3 years in a row only to be HIGHLY disappointed! They sign up as many kids as possible without a guarantee a coach for your child’s team, then panic last minute to get parents (with little to no experience coaching) to sign up to coach out of guilt for these kids. Waste of money and time. Definitely will be going to a different league next year, we have given this one more than enough chances and money to disappoint.

First time registering my son for the summer baseball program. I am excited for my son! So far we have had a smooth registration. No problems, or concerns at this time. Gave a 4 star, because I had called a few times within an hour, but I finally got someone.

Seems to be controlled by people who do too many favors for local insiders creating unfair advantages in the leagues
