Splatter & Sprout is a creative art and play studio in White Sulphur Springs that runs weekly summer art camps for children. Campers work hands-on through the summer on collaborative, open-ended art projects, such as a large immersive mural scene built piece by piece each week. The mother-daughter studio opened in 2025 and was named the West Virginia Hive's 2025 Startup of the Year.

Powered by GoogleI brought my two-year-old here while we were staying at the Greenbrier, as my husband was attending a conference. I had seen Splatter and Sprout online and so my daughter and I walked from the Greenbrier downtown (just about a lovely 15 minute walk) to come in, and we were not disappointed. The space is pristine and filled with lots of fun, unique activities for kids. Stephanie and her daughter were FABULOUS and so kind to us. We played for a long time with different toys, and unfortunately, my daughter was not interested in painting (to my disappointment), but she had a great time with the sensory table and other toys. Stephanie even brought out some new ball pit balls to throw in the jumparoo, which was so, so sweet. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely be stopping in. This was an amazing experience!
This place is absolutely wonderful! We are only here for the weekend, otherwise we’d come here every week. The ladies that run it are lovely and have provided such a neat space for kids to play and be creative! My 7 year old and 1 1/2 year olds equally had lots fun and found plenty of things to do! I love when people take initiative and start businesses that are a true enrichment for the area. Go support this local business and let your kids have some screen free fun!
