This place is the best! SUCH a calm, cute location. Everything is so clean, organized, and well put together. I will continue coming back when I need a fun day activity! They also offer so many classes and activities and such. A great place!!!

I don't know how I haven't been here before! They had a huge selection of plain pottery, and you pick one to paint (mine was about 6 inches tall and around $25, paint and glaze is free with purchase). They had lots of figures, not just vases and plates. The staff was friendly and reccomended colors to use (but didn't mind if people wanted something else). The paint was a little lighter while painting, but you have to leave the pottery there for about a week so they can glaze it. It came out so professional!

Went there with my family for an evening of painting for Christmas season. It was therapeutic for the family. We had 9 people 3 different groups, and we were setup in a room not out in the open. Owner also provided snacks but you can bring your own food and beverages too. One of the group brought their food and wine. The owner was leading us in painting our canvas. It was a nativity scene canvas. She has printed instructions and also walked us through where to start and what to do. We started at 630 and ended a little past 9pm. This is definitely a great place for date night, rest and relax. Family did this 2nd year in a row for the season.

The Speckled Turtle in Prosper is an adorable space with great color options and a very cute setup, but unfortunately the customer service fell short. The young woman with glasses seemed uninterested in helping, and when she did assist, it felt like I was inconveniencing her. I also had an uncomfortable interaction with another staff member(middle age woman) who questioned me for using a Sharpie and spoke to me as if I wasn’t capable of handling it responsibly, i’m a sever so i’m used to helping out staff and making their job easier, So i organized my table to make cleanup easier, I was told—rudely—to just leave it as it was. The environment itself is wonderful, but the unfriendly and dismissive attitude from staff made the experience disappointing. Sadly, I won’t be returning despite how charming the place could be with better service.

Such a cute little pottery studio! They host classes, birthdays, and events; along with pottery classes and a wide range of different pieces to paint. Allow yourself a couple of hours in here, me and my boyfriend ended up painting for 3 hours 😂 I’ve certainly had better service before when it comes to these kinds of pottery shops, but the staff was nice. It’s very conveniently placed, and didn’t get too busy in my time there, which I appreciate. I will definitely be back!
