Special Camp is a San Juan Capistrano day camp for children and young adults with disabilities, ages 6-21, founded in 1992 and hosted on the campus of St. Margaret's Episcopal School. Each camper is paired one-on-one with a volunteer counselor, and activities are tailored to individual abilities and interests, including field trips to places like Knott's Berry Farm. It runs about 9 a.m.-3 p.m. most days (Thursdays 8-4).
