A standout feature for our troop is the staff's energy and passion. Their welcoming attitude and commitment makes the experience educational and fun. The facilities are well-maintained and constantly being upgraded. Recent improvements include private stalls and tankless warm-water showers in all campsite latrines, a new staff shower house, and massive upgrades to the dining hall and trading post. I have been to several camps, and this camp has the best summer camp food. The dining hall has a cafeteria-style service and accommodates special dietary needs. STSR's combination of a beautiful setting, enthusiastic staff, and diverse, well-run programs makes it an excellent choice for a summer camp. The continuous improvements to the facilities show a clear commitment to providing a top-notch experience for scouts and leaders alike.
