February 15, 2023, was the worst night of our lives. Our son was in the 3-5yr group, which was way too large for the young coach to handle. Recognizing this, the owner Al split the group one evening, and my son (then 3 years old) was with him. He had my son climb the wall ladders and walked away to tend to other children in a different activity. My son fell to the hard ground below!! He did not know how to climb down and was left! We had to get him help immediately he was in shock, pure white and nauseous, and couldn't move his arm. He ended up needing to be semi sedated just to be able to get x-rays as he screamed in pain - 6 medical staff and pure hell...the x-rays showed a broken elbow, and he needed emergency surgery in the morning. He had 2 pins put in. We dropped the lawsuit after the long fight of having their insurance cover the medical bills, but our then attorneys said it was clear negligence. They had it on video and Al acknowledged to me his mistake. My son and our family suffered because of pure negligence. Please be aware putting your little ones in these groups, trust your gut if it seems too busy or too large of a group...hopefully they learned to be aware of little one's abilities and to maintain supervision always....hopefully nobody else has to endure what my little boy did....

For many years my daughter went to another facility. After some struggles at the other gym, we moved her here. The coaching and positive team mentality is way above and beyond the gym we left. It is really a family here. I wish we had picked here instead of the other gym and I'd like other parents not to make the same mistake. If your daughter we wants to try gymnastics or you are looking for a new gym this is the place.

Things could have been better the floors were gross and un vacuumed. the fridge we were told to use was gross and full of mold. They said they would have the balloons other stuff. That wasn't brought out. The people setting up didn't show up till about 5 mins till the party started. The drop tile ceiling was full of water stains from the roof leaking.. definitely room for improvement. All that matters to me tho is my daughter had such a fun time with her friends!!!

My daughter has taken multiple classes at this facility. The staff are great and work well with children of all ages and all abilities. Many children that attend my daughter's school and after school activities attend this facility as there are classes through out the week. Having had the opportunity to speak with the owners and staff of multiple gymnastics training facilities in Broome and Tioga counties, I highly recommend STGA. I have friends who are also bringing their children from Johnson City and other areas to the STGA facility in Endwell. Take the time to meet and learn about the people who are working with the kids and you will see that Southern Tier Gymnastics is a great place.
